17 Oct Living in Sunningdale
Sunningdale has always been an incredibly desirable part of Berkshire. With its undeniable English charm and warm community spirit, people who live here very rarely want to leave, and the people who do leave usually end up coming back! As places go, Sunningdale’s one of the best in Britain – well, in our opinion anyway.
If you are interested in living in rental property in Sunningdale, here’s a little taster of what life could be like.
Sunningdale Golf Course
If you are a keen golfer then you will find yourself perfectly at home in Sunningdale! The Sunningdale Golf Course is one of the best in the world and famous amongst golfers, so to live so near would be golfing heaven. Even if you are not a pro, taking Saturday morning trips for a bit of fun on the course is a great way to start your weekend. Why not join the club and feel part of the lively, welcoming golfing community? You won’t regret it!
You can also play at Sunningdale Heath golf course  next to its ‘big brother’. Previously known as Sunningdale Ladies, this is a beautiful course with lots of small greens, lots of trees and tricky bunkers.
Sunningdale is in a prime spot in terms of location. Rather than being quite closed off as many country-side villages in Britain are, Sunningdale has links to a ton of great places! It is just under an hour away from central London, which is great if you work in the city or enjoy its buzz. Taking a day trip has never been easier!
It is also close to well-known UK locations such as Ascot, Virginia Water and Windsor, and less than two hours from Brighton and the South coast. If you like to explore your country, Sunningdale is the perfect place to call home.
Rental Property in Sunningdale
At Barton Wyatt, we often have properties for rent in Sunningdale – although they usually get snapped up fast so be quick if you see something you like! To give you a taste of where you could be living, we thought we’d tell you about two Sunningdale properties currently on the market.
The first property is a two-bedroom apartment in Charters Road. Featuring modern decor, bright, furnished rooms and a gorgeous balcony, this property would certainly be a delight to live in! Wake up to sun-filled rooms before you make your way into the chic kitchen to cook up a tasty breakfast on the island (which is perfect for cooking and socialising with guests), then head out onto the balcony to enjoy the view of green fields and distant hills. Does life get any better?
The second property is for those of you who need a little more room. Located in Shrubbs Hill Lane and with a whopping seven bedrooms, this home is a real stunner! The property has a luxurious, more classic style of decor and plenty of en-suites to stop any arguing guests. With a private rear garden and plenty dining, drawing and family rooms to reside in, this house makes for a beautiful Surrey retreat. We’re very jealous of whoever ends up living here!
