Be inspired by an array of tantalising local food and wines from around the world as celebrity chef, James Martin, presents a live cookery demonstration between a thrilling seven-race card.
The racing is equally good, with high-profile races featured throughout the day:
The Ladbrokes Mobile Handicap, which takes place over a mile-and-a-half and has prize money of £150,000, making it Britain’s most valuable three-year-old handicap; and
The Fly London Southend Airport Handicap Stakes, sponsored by the Stobart Group.
James Martin Cookery Demonstration
On Saturday 7th September celebrity chef, James Martin, famed for his hugely successful weekly show Saturday Kitchen will present a live demonstration cooking blow-torched mackerel with blini, warm pickled beetroot and chive crème fraiche and a vodka and vanilla panna cotta with fresh raspberries and sugared doughnuts.
The demonstration will take place on the Concourse of the Grandstand between Cores 3 and 4.
Delicious Food Stalls
In between racing explore the delights of over 25 deliciously tempting food stalls selling locally produced items around the Parade Ring and in the Grandstand.
You will have the opportunity to purchase handmade chocolate novelties, olive oils & balsamic vinegars, homemade sweet and savoury biscuits, delicious fudge, cheese & jams to curry paste plus much more.
A ‘Shop & Drop’ service will also be offered for racegoers until the end of the day, allowing you to leave your purchases in whilst you enjoy the rest of your day.
As you peruse the food stalls and watch the thrilling racing on the track, why not sample some delicious fine wine courtesy of wine connoisseurs Bibendum.
Take the Bibendum Taste Test and find out which wines from across the world suit your taste buds, from a smooth red, a crisp white to a fruity rosè.
Wine vouchers can be purchased on the day from the Wine Festival located in the Grandstand.

Group tickets start from just £8, and there is free coach parking on all racedays outside Royal Ascot. Children aged 17 and under are admitted free of charge.
