Choose from 28 ciders and 9 perries at the 9th Ascot CAMRA Beer Festival

Racegoers can look forward to 28 ciders and 9 perries, as well as a range of festival special ales, among the 280 ales, ciders and perries on offer at the Autumn Racing Weekend and 9th Ascot CAMRA Beer Festival here at the racecourse on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd October.

The Autumn Racing Weekend heralds two days of dramatic Flat racing, featuring the UK’s joint most valuable handicap on Saturday, combined with the chance to sample more than 280 ales, ciders and perries at the 9th Ascot CAMRA Beer Festival.

Guests can expect everything that the great British pub has to offer including bar snacks, traditional games and live music.

Among the list of ciders and perries you can find local favourites from Berkshire and Hampshire, as well as producers from further afield including Cheshire, Herefordshire, Somerset and Kent.

We are also pleased to announce that the real ale bar will welcome some of the newest local breweries including beers from Hop Art (Bentley, Hants); Hedgedog (Virginia Water, Surrey); Big Smoke (Surbiton); Kew (West London); Little Beer (Guildford, Surrey); Marshall’s (Hermitage, Berks) and Park (Kingston Upon Thames).

In addition, there will be a range of exclusive festival special brews from Wild Weather (Silchester, Berks) who have brewed a massively dry-hopped Rye IPA, named Riders on the Storm. Longdog (Basingstoke, Hants) who are a former winner of the Beer of the Festival award, have produced a 6% English Hopped IPA and we have also been promised a festival special from newcomer Indigenous (Chaddleworth, Berks). Back by popular demand, Bingham’s (Ruscombe, Berks) have brewed their 5% festival Red Ale named Thirst Past the Post which was the second beer to sell out last year.

This year’s Regional bar will showcase the best breweries from the Greater Manchester area.
