November Meeting & Christmas Village at Ascot Racecourse

The Jumps season continues at the November Meeting, which opens with a varied six-race card over fences and hurdles. With the festive season well on its way, Ascot will host a Christmas Shopping Village in conjunction with Country Living, located along the Concourse Level of the Grandstand. Between races, racegoers can lose themselves in the delights of Christmas shopping in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

For the first time this year the Christmas Shopping Village will be held in association with Country Living, who are known for their popular monthly lifestyle magazine and Christmas / Spring Fair’s.

In between racing, peruse over 40 stalls selling gifts perfect for the festive season, from fine jewellery to luxury toiletries and racing themed home ware to quirky Christmas crafts.

This is sure to be the most unique and enjoyable way to begin your Christmas shopping in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

The feature race on Saturday 23rd November is the Grade 2 Coral Ascot Hurdle, which takes place over two miles and three-and-a-half furlongs.

Supporting races include the Carey Group Handicap Chase, over two miles, and the Amlin 1965 Novices Chase, which commemorates the year that Jumps racing first took place at Ascot. Jumps racing started at Ascot upon the closure of the local Hurst Park course.
